Note: Revealing details for the third episode of Campaign 4 follow below.
The Warrior Group Unveiled
The latest chapter ended with a huge suspense moment and introduced the first table of heroes who will separate from the central cast to embark on their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.
The combat-focused team features Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), the agile character (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).
Why Split the Party?
Considering 13 cast members, it was obvious from the beginning that having everyone at a single group would be impossible.
Hence, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before branching into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Questers.
The Nature of the Combat Party
Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a traditionally charged battle-oriented story mode where non-violent answers are scarce.
Initially, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might seem mismatched, but the actions of the third episode demonstrate why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.
Motivations for Departure
To begin with, the party has a clear idea where to proceed after a intense opening clash with the antagonists.
An old friend of Thjazi—whose passing started the campaign’s events—used the enemy for his own means, entering the hidden lair, attacking the character, and taking all the magical artifacts to auction.
Casimir then paid off his debts and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, beyond the city, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.
Personal Motivations
Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to exit Dol-Makjar:
- Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires vengeance.
- The knowledgeable figure has experience in Timmony and cautions that it is a dangerous location.
- The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his house’s orders to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
- However, their position as key figures in House Halovar could enable the team reach areas they usually can’t.
- Additionally, The fighter pledged a eternal obligation to Wicander for his salvation and will now accompany him wherever.
Pursued by Authorities
Finally, all of them are hunted by the rulers that control Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:
- The rogue and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
- Tyranny and Wicander betrayed the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
- Teor is wanted dead by the family.
This leaves them little choice but to journey toward Timmony in search of Casimir.
Upcoming Developments
Based on the latest episode’s Cooldown, we find out that the Soldiers table won’t be around the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to assemble the Seekers and Planners tables.
Fans can expect finding out which adventurers will be in which group in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on October 24.
